Makes 4 slices
Ingredients
Panettone, sliced 2.5 cm (1 inch) thickness
180 ml (3/4 cup) milk
60 ml (1/4 cup) heavy cream
1 large egg
Pinch of salt
Toppings;
60 ml (1/4 cup) heavy cream
35 gr (1/4 cup) berries, fresh
Maple syrup
Instructions
1. In a shallow bowl whisk an egg. Add milk, heavy cream, whisk, and salt. Whisk to combine.
2. For topping; whip heavy cream to soft peaks.
3. Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat. Coat the pan with oil. Dip each side of panettone slices in the milk/egg mixture, around 5 seconds each side. Cook in the pan until golden brown, 3 minutes each side.
4. Top with cream and berries. Drizzle maple syrup and enjoy!
