This is what you make for Brunch when you just made homemade Brioche Loaf.
Makes 6 slices
Ingredients
1 egg
125 ml whole milk
125 ml heavy cream
20 gr sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract or paste
Pinch of salt
6 Brioche slices, about 2 cm/.75 inch thick
Instructions
1. In a large bowl whisk together egg, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, and a pinch of salt. Set aside.
2. Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Coat with cooking spray or any vegetable oil. Dip the brioche slice in the milk/egg mixture, around 5-7 seconds on each side. Cook in the pan until golden brown, about 3 minutes on each side. Continue with the rest of the slices.
3. Optionally top French Toast with whipped cream, and fresh berries. Enjoy!
